Developing East Arnhem Limited (DEAL) is continuing to grow its team, with several new appointments across economic development, tourism and marketing as the organisation continues its work supporting the future growth of East Arnhem Land.
Pela Fuller
Joining the Economic Development team is Pela Fuller, who recently relocated from the South Coast of New South Wales. Bringing experience across aged care, finance and the mining industry, Pela has worked across executive support, business strategy and on-site mining operations, giving her a broad and practical understanding of people, projects and industry.
With a strong focus on collaboration and relationship-building, Pela is passionate about supporting positive outcomes across the region and is excited to now call East Arnhem home.

Serene Dhapuḻuku Yunupiŋu
DEAL also welcomes Serene Dhapuḻuku Yunupiŋu as the organisation’s new Tourism Development Officer. With strong cultural connections to East Arnhem and experience across performance, cultural storytelling and community engagement, Serene brings a valuable perspective to the role.
As part of her work, Serene will travel throughout the region to connect with communities, hear local stories and aspirations, and support the development of meaningful, community-led tourism opportunities that reflect the identity and strength of East Arnhem Land.

Emily Clifford
Joining the Marketing and Communications team is Emily Clifford, who brings more than a decade of experience across branding, editorial, tourism, fashion and commercial storytelling.
Having previously lived in East Arnhem, Emily brings both creative and regional insight to the role, with a focus on strategic communications, digital engagement and authentic place-based storytelling. Passionate about showcasing the people, culture and opportunities that make the region unique, she is excited to help continue growing the profile of East Arnhem across tourism, investment and community platforms.
